He previously played for Grayson High School which is a 7A High School for his Freshman and Sophomore year. Then, as a Junior he attended Duluth High School where he played on the varsity team.
As a player since I have been evaluating him, I have seen him as a facilitator on the court, he shares the ball, but has no problem taking control, if the opportunity presents itself. He manages defense perimeter player covering the shooter or point guard. He has a wide stance, and can read passes.
As for his offense, he is a shooter and has great fundamentals shooting ability, from all areas on the court, his ball handling skills have given him the advantage to get around defense for drive and easy layups. He know how to use the pick n roll as well as run motion offense. He s is not a selfish player and IQ level has proven to be able to get assist often.
With the fact of being able to learn from his father and have some of the work ethic as his father, he will be a great addition to a college program.
My name is Steven Hunter 2, I am the son of Steven Hunter former NBA Player. My entire life has been revolved around basketball. As a player I feel I can bring my IQ as a point guard and my ability to understand the game since my father has taught me since I was little. I have speed, good ball-handling skills, and shooting from three point line, and inside. I also, feel I have a good jump shot mid-range.
I am open to degrees, as I am still trying to decide. I think getting my associate and getting my general studies will give me time to determine what I want to study at the university level. I am open to all opportunities in all levels, but just not sure on path yet. I just know that I want to continue playing basketball while I attend college. I look forward to having a conversation with coaches.
