Emily Sample

I have a high GPA of 4.67 as a straight A student all 4 years and take all honor classes. I am a avid animal lover and want to become a vet. So, my goal is to find a college/university that can help me pursue my passion and get me to the next stage of completing veterinarian school post-grad program. As a basketball player, I have had a great 4 years as a varsity player. I was the starting point guard 4 years and 3 years as captain. I have really grown as a lead in this role. My achievements include "All League Athlete" in conference, Top 10 in California Assist, Top 35 in Assist Nationally. I believe my ability to make one more pass has been a great asset to my team and helping me be a strong team player mentally. I am also volunteering with a minority club, beach cleanup, and animal shelters. I also work part-time year round. I feel my ability to be a hard working student-athlete will benefit a basketball program and I can be a great student as I am proving academics are very important to me.
